Resurrection Philadelphia believes God calls women and men to serve equally as leaders, pastors, and teachers in the Church, to equip the Body’s many members for the work of ministry.

However, in the history of the global church and in the Bible itself, there have been conflicting ideas around how women participate in the church. Given texts that seem to reject female leadership, can Resurrection still claim to be faithful to the authority of the Bible? Or does the story of the Bible give us a different picture of the role of women leaders in the church than Christians have historically believed?
